This page explains what happens to your information when you visit Destination Munich. It's a one-man site, run by me, Stuart Anderson, in the UK, so the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply. What I collect You don't need an account to use this site, and I don't ask for your name or address. If you email me or send a question through the site, I get whatever you choose to include, usually your name, your email address and your message. I only use that to reply, and I don't pass it on. If you leave a comment, it's handled by IntenseDebate (run by Automattic). Your comment and the name you give are shown publicly on the page. Cookies and advertising The site is hosted by SiteSell (Solo Build It!), which keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. The adverts are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads, and where you agree to it, to tailor them to your interests based on your visits to this and other websites. You can read how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and change your ad settings at adssettings.google.com. Some pages also include content from other sites, such as YouTube videos, Google Maps, Instagram posts and the Destination Munich Facebook page. Those services may set their own cookies when you view or play their content. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work without them. Links to other sites I link to lots of other websites. I'm not responsible for their content or their privacy policies, so check those before you share anything with them. Your rights You can ask me what information I hold about you, and ask me to correct or delete it.
