Vintage appeal

Old World charm is the order of the day at the 1930s-era Hotel Germania.

Rooms are well-sized with wooden highlights and pastel blues and greens. All rooms have desks and basic TVs, and they’re well sound-proofed from the street.

I saw the light and airy Suite, with a living area arm chairs which
unfortunately
also look like they’re from the ’30s.

There are breakfast and conference rooms and a small but cosy cocktail bar. A good-value mid-ranger.
